This year however hard has been the one where many long threads in my life finally tied themselves into something solid and meaningful.

I found a job I genuinely love at the Toy Museum in Krakow. It feels like a dream position for me – working with toys, dolls, and forms of creativity that have historically been considered “female,” intimate, or secondary, and treating them with the seriousness and care they deserve. I’m especially grateful to my boss, Katarzyna Sosenko; working with her is a real pleasure, and her trust, knowledge, and warmth make everyday work feel purposeful.

I also took part in the Bunkier.Sztuka.Krytyka program, which turned out to be an intense and inspiring experience. I met wonderful people—organizers, lecturers, and artists—who challenged me and supported me in equal measure. I want to especially thank Ewa Dyga, Arkadiusz Półtorak, and Delfina Jałowik, it was wonderful to meet you and take part in the program. I also want to say thank you to Dorota Jarecka, Alek Hudzik i Stach Szabłowski, our wonderful facilitators.

As a result of this program, I published my first text in the Polish language in Restart magazine, something I am truly proud of, and had the chance to collaborate with the amazing Leipzig-based artist Malte Taffner.

This year I also became part of Kultur Lige, a project connected to FestivAlt—an initiative focused on Jewish art, memory, and contemporary cultural practices. It’s a space for dialogue, collaboration, and careful listening, and I’m deeply grateful to be involved. FestivAlt as a whole is a very important point of reference for me, and Lena Rubenfeld deserves special thanks for being not only a brilliant organizer but also a genuinely generous and inspiring person.

I graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts (ASP) in Kraków—a milestone that still feels slightly unreal after two years of studying, working, and doubting along the way.

This year I had a wonderful collaboration with Szyszkodar — the Krakow-based artist and book rescuer known for giving old books a second life and spreading joy through creative, community-driven projects. Together, we made a series of videos about my sketchbooks, exploring process, materiality, and how drawing can serve as a form of lived practice. Working with Szyszkodar was inspiring, playful, and deeply rooted in shared attention to narratives that often go unnoticed in everyday life.

I also took part in a major educational project with Resursa Radom focused on the Jewish heritage of the city. Huge thanks to Anna, whom I worked with closely — we did a great job together, and I truly hope to collaborate again in the future.

I started making a series of videos about my sketchbooks for my YouTube channel, where I share insight into my visual practice, the stories behind specific pages, and how sketchbooks function as personal worlds of thought. It has been rewarding to talk through my work in a different medium, and I’m grateful to everyone who has watched, commented, and connected with these videos.

Another important step was finally organizing events for Muzeum HERstorii Sztuki, an organization I’ve followed and admired for a long time. Becoming part of its team feels meaningful and aligned with how I want to work: collaboratively, critically, and with care for overlooked histories. Special thanks to Patrycja Chlebus-Grudzień and Agata Kokoryn for their support, generosity, and genuinely welcoming energy.

Exhibitions were a major part of this year as well. They included Art Books & Illustrations, a solo exhibition at the District and Municipal Public Library in Bochnia (December 2025 – March 2026); presentations of my textile sculpture Anna Rabbit Doll at the exhibitions Travels Small and Big and From Copernicus to Lem – Toys That Predicted the Future at the Toy Museum in Kraków; the solo illustration exhibition Mój Lublin in Lublin; Toys on Vacation and Toys Worth a Medal at the Museum of Toys in Kraków; Golden Afternoon in Stryszów; the duo exhibition Lessons in Darkness with Wojtek Łubianka; several group exhibitions with Collective 309; participation in In a Wide Frame. Polish Comics after the Transformation at Bunkier Sztuki; and a solo presentation of comic panels from Now We Are Different at the Comics Museum Kraków.

On top of that, I also started leading workshops – dollmaking, Victorian puzzle purses, and sashiko – practices I’ve wanted to share for years. They took place in many different contexts and spaces, including the ASP Career Office (Biuro Karier ASP) and the Toy Museum in Kraków, among others. I’m deeply grateful to everyone who participated, showed up with curiosity and care, and helped turn these meetings into moments of shared making, learning, and exchange.

I’m thankful to everyone mentioned here—and many more who supported, collaborated, showed up, read, listened, and worked alongside me. I wish you all a happy New Year, and I hope that the next one brings even more shared projects, conversations, and reasons to meet again!

The exhibition presents a series of works in drawing, painting, sculpture, audio, video, and photography. Together, they form a cohesive and immersive artistic experience.
The project draws inspiration from the writings of Franz Kafka and the concept of liminal spaces – transitional realms between imagination and reality. The artists explore themes of unease, emotional disorientation, and the darker aspects of human nature.

See you there!
