Doll & Toy Creative Laboratory by Anna Rabbit

MYTHOLOGY

Once upon a time, there was a little girl. She lived in a small village surrounded by a dark, ancient pine forest, in a little house with no electricity or running water. All she dreamed of was having a doll – she had never had one.

Finally, for her sixth birthday, her mother took her to the city to visit a big toy store. There were many dolls in the store, but none of them looked like the little girl. For some reason, all the dolls were blonde, with blue eyes. She was given a doll with beautiful white hair and a pink dress trimmed with white lace, but she wasn’t quite happy with it.

She didn’t have the doll for long. Less than a year later, the little girl’s dog, who was part wolf, chewed the head of the beautiful doll. The girl got scared that her parents would be angry at the dog, so she buried the remains of the doll in the forest. She took the blame and said she had lost it.

The girl’s parents were rather angry and told her she would not be getting another doll.

Then the little girl promised herself that she would grow up and become a witch, have as many dolls as she wanted, and all of them would look like her.

And she did.
